TEQUILA TANGO has finished closer to the winner in each of his last three starts, the latest when runner-up over this C&D. 1.25L behind the victor, this despite hanging inwards at the 250m. He faces a wide draw ten, but he should use his early gate speed to get across without using up too much energy. LANTERN JACK finished fourth on debut over this C&D, and would have gained from the experience. From his kinder draw four, he could emerge as the biggest danger to the top pick. SOTA STAR raced green when finishing sixth on debut, 5.4L back from the winner. He too would have come on from the outing and can show natural improvement. BRIGHT FATE lost a couple of lengths at the start when ending up in tenth place on debut over this trip, 7.9L adrift of the winner.
