BETTER MAN was far from disgraced when sixth in the Grade 2 Race Coast Cape Punters Cup last time. He was reported to be coughing that day. The son of One World won his penultimate outing over this distance at Hollywoodbets Hollywoodbets Durbanville. He is the best-weighted runner in this contest and with luck from the widest draw, he can notch up his third-career victory. TENPENNY has good recent form lines to his name. The manner in which he finishes off his races suggests that he will love the rise to 1800m. From his good draw of four, he should be competitive. UMFULA did not go on with the effort in the Listed WSB Club Prive Summer Stayers Handicap last time. He has won once and finished second once from as many starts over this C&D. Richard Fourie steps back into the saddle and he cannot be discounted. LANDOFTHERISINGSUN showed signs of needing his last start in the Grade 3 Ownpay Peninsula Handicap. He would have come on from the run and should strip much fitter. On his previous form, he should have a say in the outcome of this contest.
