He has won once, finished second twice and third once from as many starts over this C&D. S'manga Khumalo is booked to ride, and if confirming his recent improvement, he may be the one to beat. BLAZING LIGHT lacked a strong finish when fourth over 1800m last time. Tristan Godden retains the ride and the blinkers are re-fitted. He is likely to race on the speed and on best form shown, he should pose a threat. CIRCLE OF GRACE finished 1.4 lengths behind the second choice last time. The pair meet on the same weight terms today and he may have to settle for the same result. NOW I GOT YOU is better than his last start over 1200m. His two starts prior to that outing over 1400m on this course were decent. If putting his best foot forward, he should have a say in the outcome of this contest.
