LIONS EYE showed good improvement in his first run for the Stuart Ferrie stable. The manner in which he finished off his race that day was encouraging. It must be noted that the horse that finished second that day has come out and won since. The son of Silvano would have come on from the run and should strip much fitter. With a bit of luck from the widest draw, he should be the one to beat. BRING THE MAGIC stayed on when third over this C&D last time. He is having his peak run today and should be cherry-ripe. From his good draw of three, he should throw out a big challenge to the top choice. CATAVAR ran a fair race when third over 1100m on this course last time. The blinkers remain fitted and he can earn another cheque for his patrons. CAPTAINSHIP is better than his last start as he raced wide around the turn and was reported to be fatigued. He drops back to 1200m and there should be good improvement to come.
