RAFEEF'S QUEEN has finished second in her last three outings, the latest over 1200m, 0.4L back from the winner and with Keagan De Melo in the irons, she will be hoping to go one better today. ASTROPHILE showed plenty of toe and was only run out of it late when finishing fourth in her latest outing over 1000m, 2.9L off the victor and could prove hard to reel in over the closing stages. BEAUTIFUL ROSIE jumped awkwardly and was reported to have been cut into, but nevertheless finished fourth first time out over 1000m, 3.2L behind the winner and was immediately rested for 17 weeks. She returns here and should have come on further to be involved in the finish. ELEGANT EDGE showed pace, made respiratory noise when ending up in second place last time out over 1000m, beaten just a short-head and if able to reproduce that effort here, she could complete the quartet.
