COMIC ARTIST ran a good race when second over 2000m on the Classic course last time. The manner in which she finished off her race that day suggests that she will be suited to 2400m. She carries a handy galloping mass of 52.5kgs and can go one better. SAMUEL SHARPE is the stable companion of the top choice. His last two starts after returning from an 11-week break have been fair. The son of Flower Alley is a progressive type and if seeing out the extra distance on offer, he should pose a threat. THOONSIL ran a fair race over 2000m on the Classic course last time. He finished third in both his efforts on this course. He is having his peak outing and if suited to 2400m, he should be competitive. EMERALD CITY was disappointing over 2000m on the Classic course last time. He has finished second in both his efforts over this distance. It is encouraging that Muzi Yeni steps back into the saddle and he cannot be discounted.
