UNDERDOG showed massive improvement in his last start over this C&D. Apprentice Girish Samo-Burthia takes the 3kgs off his back which will assist his cause. If confirming his recent improvement, he may be the one to beat. UBERMENSCH was in need of his last start over this distance on the Turffontein Inside course. He will strip much fitter and can show improvement in this line-up. STORM BURST finished 0.2 lengths behind the top selection in his penultimate run. He is 5.5kgs worse off at the weights today and may battle to turn the form around. TRIP TO STATES has been disappointing in his last two starts. It must be noted that Greenlight Racer has come out and won again since. On best form shown, he should have a say in the outcome of this contest.
