CYMRIC should have finished closer to the winner last time as he stumbled leaving the starting stalls. He would have come on from the run and should strip much fitter. The son of Vercingetorix won his only attempt over this distance. He can go one better in this line-up. BUFFALO STORM CODY stayed on when third over 1200m on the Turffontein Inside course last time. The son of Buffalo Bill Cody has scope and Muzi Yeni may be able to coax that little bit extra out of him where it matters most. BIOFARMER ran a good race when second over 1200m on the Classic course last time. It must be noted that the form of that race has been franked. He won his only attempt on this course. He returns from a suspension/ break and if fit, he should be competitive. ELEGANT ICE returns from a 13-week break which would have done her the world of good. On best form shown, she should give the males a run for their money.
