WITHOUT EQUAL should have finished closer to the winner last time as he hung in the closing stages. It must be noted that the form of that race has been franked. Keagan de Melo steps back into the saddle and in this line-up, he should find himself in the winner's enclosure. THEWOLFOFWOLSELEY made the natural improvement when finishing fourth over 1160m at Turffontein last time. He was reported to be not striding out and blowing that day. The son of Elusive Fort is a progressive type and may have more to come. ETEEAY received a bump leaving the starting stalls last time, but stayed on nicely at the finish. That was his first start with the blinkers fitted. He will enjoy the rise to 1400m and Warren Kennedy may be able to coax that little bit extra out of him. HOME OF THE BRAVE is an unraced son of The United States from the Tyrone Zackey yard with Gavin Lerena in the saddle. His mother, Winter Star was a four-time winner over 1160m to 1400m. If not too green, he should give a good account of himself. The betting market will be the best guide with regards to his chances.
