GIMME A VODKA is one of the better bets on the programme. He ran a good race when second in the Listed TAB Storm Bird Stakes last time. He was slow into stride, but stayed on nicely to finish second. He will love the rise to 1160m and should take a power of beating. TWILIGHT is a filly taking on the males. She was given a peach of a ride when winning on debut over 1000m on the Inside course. The daughter of Querari will love the extra distance on offer and she could be anything. THE BRONX BULL made the expected natural improvement when winning his maiden over 1200m on the Vaal Classic course. He finished 0.05 lengths behind NIGHTSHINE on debut. He is 1.5kgs better off at the weights today and that should be enough for the tables to be turned. NIGHTSHINE has finished second in both his efforts to date. It must be noted that World Attraction has come out and won again since. He has scope and can finish in the placings.
