SNOW QUEEN showed good improvement when fourth over this C&D last time. She showed speed before getting outrun late. It must be noted that Versace Onthetrack and the third horse have come out and won since. The daughter of What A Winter is a progressive type and she may be the one to beat. JAZZ PIANIST has finished third in both her efforts to date. She raced from a prominent position over 1160m last time and stayed on at the finish. She drops back to 1000m and with Gavin Lerena in the saddle, she should pose a threat. The jockey reported something to be amiss with BLUSHING BLOOM on debut. The daughter of Flower Alley would have come on from the run and she should make the natural improvement. ONCEINABLUEMOON is an unraced daughter of One World from the Paul Matchett stable with Philasande Mxoli in the saddle. If not in need of this outing, she should give a good account of herself. The betting market will be the best guide with regards to her chances.
