TIGER MAGIC produced a promising debut effort when second over this distance at Hollywoodbets Greyville. He showed speed, tried hard but found one too good in the form of Kudikaran. The son of Willow Magic would have gained from the experience and with the natural improvement that is expected, he can go one better. BUFFALO KING CODY is better than his last start when a beaten odds-on favourite as he was reported to be not striding out. It must be noted that the horse that finished second that day has come out and won since. On his previous form, he should pose a threat. TENAREEF is an unraced son of Rafeef from the Johan Janse van Vuuren stable with Keagan de Melo up. He is related to multiple winners including Captain Chorus and Symphony Of Light. If not in need of the run, he should start his career on a positive note. The betting market will be the best guide with regards to him and the other unraced entrants. PROWLER was in need of his debut effort over this distance at Turffontein. With the natural improvement that is expected, he can finish in the placings.
