PALACE REVOLT ran a good race when third over this distance last time. The blinkers seem to have done the trick on him. S'manga Khumalo retains the ride and he can notch up his third-career victory. He is carded to race on 3 January 2026 and his progress in that race will need to be monitored. WESTERN WISHES produced a strong finish when winning her last start over this C&D. With a bit of luck from the wide draw, she should give the males a run for their money. PROPHET finished 1.85 lengths behind the top choice last time. He is 0.5kgs better off at the weights today which is not enough for the tables to be turned. NEVER NEVER LAND may not have seen out the 1600m last time.
