GO JOHNNY GO made the expected natural improvement when second over this C&D last time. The son of Gimmethegreenlight is a progressive type and gets the cheekpieces fitted for the first time. If jumping on terms, he can go one better. SHOREYBOMBA finished 2.55 lengths behind LANCE ALOT last time. He is 4kgs better off at the weights today and that should be enough for the tables to be turned. If finding the form of his penultimate run, he should be competitive. LANCE ALOT was caught late when second over 1600m on this course last time. He is coming along the right way and merits healthy respect. He is carded to race on 1 January 2026 and his progress in that race will need to be monitored. POMPEII SHIELD ran a fair race on debut over 1200m. The son of William Longsword would have gained from the experience and with the natural improvement that is expected, he can finish in the placings.
