PINK LEGACY is better than her last start suggests as she was reported to be coughing. She returns from a 17-week break, which may have done her the world of good. Her debut effort when finishing second over 1450m catches the eye. If not in need of the run, she is capable of shedding her maiden tag in this field. ESCAPE ARTIST showed some improvement in her last start over 1400m. She returns from a 13-week break, during which time she would have strengthened up. She should have no issues with the drop in trip and may have more to come. DEFINITELY MAYBE is an unraced daughter of Silvano from the Mike de Kock stable with Gavin Lerena in the saddle. She is related to two-time winner Spero Optima. If not too green, she should get her career off to a positive start. The betting market will be the best guide with regards to her chances. SERENA SLAM showed some signs of a form return last time. It is encouraging that S'manga Khumalo keeps faith in the ride. She is carded to race on 23 September 2021 and her progress in that race will need to be followed.
