MARCHLAND is unbeaten from two starts over 1200m. She was an impressive winner in the Listed East Cape Fillies Nursery last time. The daughter of Malmoos returns from a 10-week break. She tries the 1400m for the first time and if seeing out the extra distance on offer, she can remain unbeaten. OBSIDIAN STAR followed up her maiden win with an equally impressive victory over this distance on the polytrack. She finished 5.5 lengths behind the top choice on debut. The daughter of Hawwaam is a progressive type and can notch up the hat-trick. MALIBU ICE made the expected natural improvement when winning her maiden over this C&D. The daughter of Malmoos is coming along the right way and should be involved at the finish. CASPERITA finished 1.25 lengths behind the second selection last time. The pair meet on the same weight terms today and she may have to settle for the same result.
