The son of The United States is having his first run for the Cliffie Miller stable. He jumps from a good draw of three and if taking to the surface, he may be the one to beat in this field. FIZZLY BUBBLY ran on well when second over 1600m on this course last time. It must be noted that Golden Grey has come out and won again since. Should the top choice fluff his lines, he may be the one to pick up the pieces. ICED MARMALADE finished third on debut behind subsequent Grade 1 winner Golden Palm. She returns from a 23-week break, during which time she would have strengthened up. There should be good improvement to come from the daughter of Danon Platina. MIO DESTINO'S last two starts have been fair. He has scope and gets the tongue-tie fitted for the first time. From pole position, he can finish in the placings.
