CLEVER CANDY returns from an 18-week break and is having her first run for Alan Greeff. The daughter of Heavenly Blue has plenty of scope and if suited to the polytrack, she should improve. RUBY CLAIRE stayed on when second over 1200m on this course last time. It must be noted that the horse that finished fourth that day has come out and won since. The daughter of Rafeef is a solid back-up for the Gavin Smith stable.
