HONEST QUEST received a bump leaving the start last time, but raced from a handy position and stayed on to finish second. The son of Pomodoro will enjoy the step up to 1300m. Greg Cheyne steps back into the saddle and with a bit of luck in running, he can shed his maiden tag. KUZNETSOV finished 2.5 lengths behind the top choice in his local debut. He should have finished closer that day as he hung in the latter stages. If keeping on a straight line, he should fight out the finish. THEN IN FOCUS showed good improvement when finishing fourth over 1000m on the turf last time. He returns from a 16- week break, during which time he would have strengthened up. The son of Visionaire is a progressive type and if suited to the polytrack, he should have more to come. EURYDICE is an unraced daughter of Rafeef from the Zietsman Oosthuizen yard with Ryan Munger in the saddle. She is related to five-time winner Enrapture. If not too green, she should get her career off to a positive start. The betting market will be the best guide with regards to her chances.
