TRACKSUIT DAVE showed good improvement when second over 1450m on the Vaal Classic course last time. He challenged strongly all the way to the line, but found one too good in the form of Shoreybomba. The son of Fire Away is a progressive type and in this field, he should be the one to beat. MASTEROFTHEBAROQUE raced wide around the turn last time without cover. It must be noted that multiple horses from that form line have come out and won since. He is a horse with scope and may be the one to fill the exacta spot. BEACH WALKER finished 5.4 lengths behind the top choice last time. The pair meet on the same weight terms today and he may have to settle for the same result. ROCK MY BOAT has moderate form lines to his name. If Marco van Rensburg can switch him off early, he can surprise. He is carded to race on 04 April 2026 and his progress in that race will need to be monitored.
