BLUSHING BLOOM won a good race when shedding her maiden tag over this distance on the Vaal Classic course. She raced from a prominent position, found a good kick and drew off in the closing stages. The daughter of Flower Alley is the stable elect with Gavin Lerena in the saddle. She is a progressive type and can follow up with another victory. RIFLE QUEEN won a good race on debut at a nice price over 1160m on the Standside course. It must be noted that the horse that finished second that day has come out and won since. She could be anything and can remain unbeaten. ON THE RUN is the stable companion of the top choice. She won a good race over 1000m on the Standside course last time. She is likely to race on the speed and may be hard to peg back. PRINCESS LOLA was running on when second over 1000m on this course last time. She has finished second twice from three starts over this C&D. Raymond Danielson retains the ride, and she would not be a shock winner.
