The son of Oratorio will love the rise to 1600m and from his good draw of two, he can shed his maiden tag. WILD FIG was caught late when third over 1400m last time. He finished ahead of the top choice that day but has to overcome a wide draw of 12. The son of Fire Away is a progressive type and he is one of the leading contenders. PICK A POMODORO finished 2.6 lengths behind the second choice last time. The pair meet on the same weight terms today and he may have to settle for the same result. ACTION AMERICA finished 0.25 lengths behind the third selection last time. He gets the tongue-tie fitted for the first time which may do the trick.
