WILD FIG ran a fair race on debut over 1200m on this course. It must be noted that the horses that finished second and third that day have come out and won since. The son of Fire Away should love the rise to 1400m and with luck in running, he may find himself in the winner's enclosure. MIO DESTINO showed massive improvement when second over 1200m on this course last time. He should enjoy the rise to 1400m and from pole position, he may be the one to fill the exacta spot. OLIVE OYL has finished third in her last three starts. She got going too late over this C&D last time. The daughter of Vercingetorix should give the males a run for their money. ATLANTIC PEARL showed good improvement when third over 1200m on the polytrack last time. The daughter of Gold Standard is a progressive type and 2.5kgs claiming apprentice Nirvan Nastili retains the ride. She should enjoy the extra 200m on offer and can finish in the placings.
